Pack 92 Holiday Parade 2019

Pack 92 Families come be in the Boise Holiday Parade!!!

Rain, Snow, or Blow..we still go!!

We will have Cub Scout Packs from all over Ore-Ida Council with their Pack Flags and Banners showing off all our Scout Spirit.  Decorated floats/trailers to accompany our Cub Scouts.  We look forward to see everyone Saturday, Nov.23rd, as we kick off the holiday season with an outstanding parade!  

Itinerary for Scouts, Parents and Pack Leaders...


Saturday, November 23rd

Scout and Parent Rally Point at:

First Presbyterian Church

950 W State Street


8:00am – 8:30am – Arrival

8:30am – 9:00am – Scouts separate into their ranks.

9:00am – Color Guard and Pack Leadership move to parade route.

9:15am – Cub Scouts and Parent Volunteers move to the parade route.

9:30am – Head Count at the Parade Route.

10:00am – Parade Begins

10:45am – Procession moves to the church for disbursement.

11:00am – All Done!

Parade information:
-Scouts in Class A uniform if you have one and encouraged to wear "Santa Hats"
-Please make a cardboard 2' tall painted green or red Christmas Light to carry in the parade
-Parents with uniforms please wear them
-Dress for the weather, it will be cold in the shade
-No getting off and on floats during the parade.

**Layout of Cub Scout “parade”**

-There will be (2) Leaders/Parents in uniform walking along side the group of flags/banners.
-There will be (4) Leaders/parents in uniform along side "group of walking Scouts".
-There will be (4) Leaders/Parents walking along side the floats.
-There will be (2) Leaders/Parents on each of the floats.
-There will be (1) Leader/Parent driving each of the trucks.
-Any other Leaders/Parents should be behind the floats or if needed to help control the Scouts mingled among them.
-US Flag and ID State Flag out front w/(2) Scouts each.
-Packs without banners follow with their Pack flags w/(2) Scouts each
-Packs with banners follow w/(2-3) Scouts each
-(4) candy wagons w/Leader pulling, two towards each side
-Float 1 - additional Scouts carrying Christmas Lights made out of cardboard
-Camping Float 2 w/Christmas Tree, tent, camp chairs/hay bales.
-Extra parents following the Float 2
