Scouting for Food 2021

Scouting for Food is a food drive to help Idaho and eastern Oregon fight hunger. We NEED your help to accomplish this dream. The Mountain West Council's goal is tremendous. Please come Saturday the 6th of November to help us distribute informational flyers/door hangers and also Saturday the 13th to drive around to have the Scouts collect the donations.

Our goal for these weekends is to make sure there is information on every door in our coverage area and to collect as much donated food for the Food Bank as possible. We need adults to drive the Scouts around in each of these subdivisions. Cub Scout families will meet at Hillsdale Elementary parking lot at 9:00am. As soon as everybody arrives, we will immediately go through a safety briefing and what is the fastest way to go around and distribute the flyers/door hangers. We have divided up the area we are covering and made easy to follow copies for everyone. Finally, we will put the groups together with their neighborhood section map and send you off.

We really need families to join us Saturday, November 6th & 13th. If we get a bunch more help it will take just a short time to complete. Hope to see you Saturday the 6th & 13th at Hillsdale Elementary parking lot at 9:00am. Donuts and coffee/juice will be provided.

Dates: Hang door hangers on 11/6 -- Pick up donated food items 11/13

Meeting location: Hilldale Elementary parking lot

Meet time: 9am each Saturday(takes about an hour or less depending on how many help out)

Subdivisions covering: Sky Mesa, Century Farms, Rockhampton 1&2
